My local rescue has a program called Book Buddies where kids read to sheltered cats to keep them from being lonely.

So many libraries offer Read To A Dog events, why not Read to A Cat. Also, Happy Monday. Kitties! Squee!

Co-worker: “Oh my God. Do you want to guess how many of these we’ve sold in the past year?”

Co-worker: “11 copies! ‘Why do cats paint?’ Probably because people put paint on their paws. I hate everyone who thinks this is painting.”
