The nominations are rolling in for the second annual 8bitlibrary.com Library Blog Awards!
Time to announce some categories that we are specifically looking for nominations in:
LIBRARY/LIBRARIAN BLOG WITH THE MOST “REACH”: What blog reaches the “most” amount of non-librarians? How is this blog(ger)(s?) taking librarianship into the world?
WORST LIBRARY-RELATED BLOG: I just want to see the WORST OF THE FUCKING WORST in library blogging!! note: you are not allowed to nominate 8bitlibrary.com in this category.
FUNNIEST LIBRARY-RELATED BLOG: I need to see some hilariousness here!
BEST LIBRARY TUMBLR: This is a more specific category; I want to see a TUMBLR by a “LIBRARY” (aka, an organizational Tumblr, not a personal one). I’ll give a few awards for this category now that TUMBLR IS THE HOTTEST BLOG PLATFORM.
BEST LIBRARY-RELATED .GIF BLOG: Sooooo many of these have sprang up since last year’s awards that I’m sure there will be multiple winners here.
Just like last year, we’ll have lots of swerves and unannounced categories, so STAY TUNED and NOMINATE ALL THE THINGS since you never know what the final categories will be!
